Inayra London takes product safety seriously. This notice provides important information about materials, regulatory compliance, and care guidance. Please read this before purchasing, particularly if you have known skin sensitivities or metal allergies.
1. Nature of Our Products
All products sold by Inayra London are artificial and costume jewellery — fashion accessories made from base metals, alloys, and decorative materials. They are not made from precious metals or genuine gemstones and are not sold as such.

2. UK REACH Compliance
Our jewellery is subject to UK REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) Regulations, setting legally binding limits on hazardous substances in skin-contact products.
Key limits under UK REACH for our jewellery:
- Nickel: must not release more than 0.5 micrograms per cm² per week for skin-contact jewellery; 0.2 micrograms per cm² per week for piercing jewellery
- Lead: maximum 500 mg/kg (0.05% by weight) in metal components
- Cadmium: maximum 100 mg/kg (0.01% by weight) in metal components

For customers importing our products for resale: you are responsible as the UK importer for verifying compliance. We recommend independent testing by a UKAS-accredited laboratory using EN 1811:2011+A1:2015 (nickel release) and EN 12472 (coated items).
3. Allergy and Skin Sensitivity Warning
Costume jewellery may cause skin reactions in individuals with nickel sensitivity or other metal allergies.
- Read the materials information on each product page before purchasing
- If you have a known nickel allergy, contact us before ordering so we can advise on suitability
- Discontinue use immediately if you experience redness, itching, swelling, or irritation
- Consult a GP or dermatologist if you experience a reaction
We cannot guarantee all products are free from allergens. Allergy responses are individual.
4. Age Suitability
All Inayra London products are intended for adults aged 18 and over. Our products are not toys and are not suitable for children under 14. Small components and fastenings may present a choking hazard. Keepall jewellery away from young children.
5. Jewellery Care Instructions
- Avoid contact with water, perfume, hairspray, body lotion, and cleaning products
- Remove jewellery before bathing, swimming, exercising, or sleeping
- Store in the pouch or box provided, in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight
- Clean gently with a soft dry cloth only — do not use chemical cleaners on costume pieces
- Do not apply excessive force when fastening or removing items
6. General Product Safety
Our products are supplied in accordance with the General Product Safety Regulations 2005. If we become aware of any safety concern with a product, we will notify affected customers by email and post a notice on our website.
